Review Jurassic World Dominion

The dino’s are back for the ultimate part of this new trilogy who for sure will lead to a new trilogy in the nearby future. To heighten the nostalgia, the producers decided to include the original three actors from Jurassic Park.

Four years after the destruction of Isla Nublar, dinosaurs now live–and hunt–alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures in a new Era.

Colin Trevorrow (“Jurassic World”, “Book of Henry”) is back in the direction chair after skipping the second volume. The movie is your typical blockbuster without real surprises, people who love blockbuster films will not be disappointed with great visual effects and a few good jokes at the right time merged with a good dose of nostalgia. Others who like a good story and interesting characters will need to find another picture.

Chris Pratt is still the leading man of this franchise, trying to save the world and the dinosaurs at the same time. Bryce Dallas Howard has sadly not a lot to do in this episode because Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum are back and are front and center in this film. DeWanda Wise and Isabella Sermon have the most interesting new characters developments.
