The Gray Man

This very ambitious film and Netflix’s most expensive film takes you on a journey around the world, with a action packed script and an impressive cast.

When the CIA’s most skilled operative-whose true identity is known to none-accidentally uncovers dark agency secrets, a psychopathic former colleague puts a bounty on his head, setting off a global manhunt by international assassins.

The Russo Brothers (“Avengers: Infinity Wars”, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”) have received carte blanche to adapt this book from Mark Greaney by Netflix and went all-in. Amazing stunts, a far fetched plot, fast paced action and unkilleble protagonists. The decors and the landscape is gorgeous and the cast seems to have fun with this explosive feature. This film is a fun summer popcorn film that needs to be enjoyed in the cinema.

Ryan Gosling never shows a lot of emotions but always have that little corny smile on the corner of his lips at the end of every scene that makes you believe that everything will be alright at the end. Ana de Armas is a lethal weapon in the film, capable of doing anything. Chris Evans makes every role so charming that you always seem to root for him eventhough his charachter is horrible. Jessica Henwick has to deal with two egomanianic charachter and Regé-Jean Page comes along for the ride. Billy Bob Thornton, Wagner Moura, Alfre Woodard, Dhanush and Julia Butters complete the cast.
