Cannes is back with some very promising films

The new edition of the French festival has unveiled his list for this year’s competitions. The Croisette will welcome some very big names, not only will there be new films of famous directors James Gray, Tarik Saleh, David Cronenberg,young Belgian talent Lukas Dhont, Park Chan-Wook or Jean-Pierre et Luc Daradenne (who can win their 3rd Palm), but Tom Cruise will be present out of competition for the new Top Gun film and Tom Hanks will be also present for the Elvis biopic from acclaimed director Baz Luhrmann.

Als out of competition the new film from George Miller, Ethan Coen, Olivier Assayas and opening the Festival will be the new movie of Academy Award Winner Michel Hazanavicius.

The Festival will open on May 17 till 28th.
