Review Nobody

I never imagined Bob Odenkirk as an action star, but after seeing him in ‘Nobody’ it still makes me dubious, nevertheless the movie is quit entertaining.

A bystander who intervenes to help a woman being harassed by a group of men becomes the target of a vengeful drug lord.

Ilya Naishuller is a Russian director who makes his English language debut with this action flick made by the creators of the John Wick franchise. The fun of this movie lies in the convergence between the calm moments and the non-stop action scenes. Bob Odenkirk is completely believable as this nobody that seems to be the most normal person on earth who suddenly seems to be a very violent person. The action is well directed, and the fast pace of the movie makes for a enjoyable watch.

Christopher Lloyd seems to have a blast, Aleksey Serebryakov plays your typical Russian bad guy. Connie Nielsen has sadly nothing to do in this movie.
