Cannes Unveils his line-up for 2019

The film Festival of Cannes is like going back to school on the first of september. You see a lot of familerar faces with a few exceptions. This year is no exception: Pedro Almodovar, Bong Joon-ho, Jean-Pierre Dardenne & Luc Dardenne, Xavier Dolan, Ken Loach Jim Jarmusch to name a few.

Still the names are big and the expectations also. There is a reason why the Festival chose them and will look forward to the competition and to the little gems in the category “Un Certain Regard”.

The Cannes film festival runs 14-25 May and will open with “The Dead Don’t Die,” from Jim Jarmusch, which will also be in competition. Alejandro G. Iñárritu will be the head of the jury.
